Twenty-one heads of schools from 12 U.S. states and territories and seven countries across four continents arrived in New York on Sunday for the beginning of the 2017 Heads of Schools Fellowship at the Klingenstein Center. For two weeks, these leaders will work together and individually to renew their passion for leadership, research practical solutions for challenges of their own schools, and consider issues of social justice in education.
On Tuesday, they joined current Klingenstein master's degree students for a luncheon where they were welcomed by Sarah Shepherd and Andrew Prince. During the two week fellowship, the two groups will meet together to review case studies and discuss leadership and governance best practices.
