PS ESOL Teacher- Tentative - Atlanta International School

  • Job Description:
    Applications are invited from dedicated and enthusiastic, professional educators for the position of ESOL teacher. This is a full-time time position with the successful candidate teaching primary school aged students. Applicants must have training in and the ability to teach the ESOL curriculum with an interdisciplinary focus through innovative learning strategies to a diverse student population. Applicants must be familiar with using differentiated instructional methods in mixed grade level/ability classes. Both push-in and pull-out support is part of the model.

    The successful teacher candidate will have:
    -Teaching credential with a focus on language acquisition
    -Minimum three years teaching ESOL in primary school
    -Experience with the Primary Years Program (PYP) of the International Baccalaureate
    -Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability and desire to work collaboratively with the school community, including providing professional development to other teachers.
