Degrees Offered

Master of Arts

The 32-point Master of Arts degree program in Private School Leadership consists of required core courses and elective course options. Students are required to complete a research project in and they participate in internships in New York City schools.

Master of Education

The 60-point Master of Education in Education Leadership, with a concentration focusing in Private School Leadership, consists of all requirements specified for the Master of Arts degree. In addition, students complete an individual research project of the student's own design aimed at improving private school practice. Up to 30 relevant points (credits) from an accredited graduate program may be transferred.

Elective courses may be chosen from Teachers College or other schools at Columbia University.
